Peta is an established and well-regarded artist, who has been steadily building up her reputation within the thriving Kuranda Arts scene for many years now.

Renowned for her versatility, Peta is technically adept enough to tackle any subject matter, yet creative enough to imbue each piece with her own inimitable style and flair.

Peta's painting Style is "Expressive Realism" and often works on oil painting portraits from photo. She produces both still life and Portraiture, the latter being her true passion.

She enjoys working from Photographs, and is confident enough to produce works as diverse as Landscapes, Native Fauna, Buildings, and many more. Portraiture is the aspect of her work in which Peta most excels. Her works featuring Adults, Children and Animals have brought her public praise and critical acclaim.

She is gifted with an extraordinary eye for detail, which results in realistic likenesses, with rich, multi-layered textures. Please take the time to look around the Gallery at some of the works reproduced here.
